Hand stitched embroidery

Inspired by the crafts my granny used to teach me over the summers I spent with her, I taught myself embroidery during the pandemic when I had watched every show on every channel... mostly joking.

A lot of my work comes directly from my love of nature, mad patterns, dark humour films, books and music - and the occasional meme!

Along with pieces where I can embrace my strange love for French Knots (I know, I know... maybe where the 'dread' comes in...) my favourite projects are creating commissioned pieces, working closely with people to create bespoke and unique pieces for friends, family or even just themselves.
