There’s nothing that reminds you of your own childhood more than when you first set up a home of your own.
I’m a sucker for tradition and when I was preparing for my first Christmas in my own home I wanted to re-create some of the family traditions I had enjoyed as a child. I still remember my dear grandmother stuffing the Christmas Pudding with silver threepenny bits, some depicting the head of a very young Queen Victoria!
I have recreated that memory taking into account today’s Health and Safety advice and have gathered together the traditional charms for you to create your own Christmas Pudding delight. And just for fun there’s some information included on how the traditions came to be.
