Crochet to calm the mind

Hi, I'm Katie. I taught myself crochet, to give my mind some peace and calm during a hectic time of my life. I love making little items and sharing them with friends and family as well as working on bigger blankets to cover and hug the recipient in love. I have been making for myself, family and friends and have challenged myself to share my makes further.

I love to explore different colours and then use any scraps and smaller balls of wool to make scrap blankets and smaller makes. My makes are perfect for a little gift to yourself or a present for a loved one.

At home, I'm a wife and mum to two children and one large puppy, who keeps me busy and full of ideas and wants to make. At work, I'm a Children's Health care assistant with the NHS. I love crochet as it can come with me all day, on the school run, at the park, on family walks, on car journeys (best passenger princess activity) night shifts and most importantly snuggled on the sofa at any point of the day
