I'm Mrs B a Scottish paper artist. I am self taught, starting first as a hobby.
When I found paper cutting, it was all about the details & seemed to suit me perfectly.
My work is made by hand using paper & a scalpel. I cut away piece by piece until the design is revealed. Most people can't believe it's not done by a machine, and some people don't know why it isn't. For me, each piece is more personal this way, made with time & care.
I always enjoyed finding the 'perfect' gift, I loved giving presents knowing I made that person feel special. So when I needed a gift for a friend I thought why not give her a piece of my work. I started to design cuts, learning how to use graphics software and then sharing my work on Facebook, and now I am learning about a running a business!
