Colourful unique pieces from fine hand embroidery to blankets & yarn.

I love colour & being creative, I think I have always crafted, thanks to my Mum, an expert embroider herself, who let me use a needle before I was a year old, under expert supervision of course. I learnt most of my crafting skills from her, until I decided I wanted to learn the technical side of embroidery, where she guided me to the Royal School of Needlework. Where I have completed the certificate in technical hand embroidery & I am over halfway through the diploma. I particularly enjoy appliqué & 3D embroidery.
I like to get my inspiration from the natural world, but I also often surprise people with the odd fantasy creature.
I can often be found stitching away at my frame or working on some other craft project, playing with colour in the quilts, blanket, silk scarves & yarn. I like to hand finish products. I’m starting to use more natural materials where possible & be mindful of the environment.
When I’m not crafting , I can be found in my garden or walking round our local nature reserve with my dachshund Luna.
I haven’t always been a full time craftswomen, I have a degree in Astrophysics & taught physics for many years.
