I am a mother of 4 and grandmother to 6, I am fortunate that we all live in the same sea side town of Morecambe.

For many years I worked as drugs social worker. Since being made redundant in 2016 I have pursued a number of creative activities and studies in doing so I have often found that I am drawn toward Japanese arts and crafts from shabori, kintsugi and sashiko, to my most recent discovery of Shou sugi ban, which is a traditional craft to protect external woods. I have adapted this technique to create decorative pieces.
