Handmade custom jewellery - plastic geekery & quirky chic-ery!

I'm Ruthie and I am hooked on shrink plastic - you know that stuff in the 80s that you drew on and baked in the oven? All my hand-drawn and hand-cut charms are made with the stuff. I'm inspired by all things geeky but I also believe that there's so much lovely jewellery out there it's important that what you choose to wear has meaning. So I have plenty of personalised pieces for sale and am always open for custom orders. The only limit is the imagination!

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil and when I'm not doing that I'm busy writing my novel. It'll be finished one year ;)

I have one cat; Juliet, one child; Evie and one ever-supportive long-suffering partner, Gray.

Welcome to LovelyRuthie's where you'll find unique and custom jewellery to delight the most hardened geeks. I use a range of materials including vintage and upcycled but my 'go to' is shrink plastic. At no more than 3cm tall, my charms put the dinky into shrinkydinks. You know, that stuff you used to put in the oven back in the 80s? It’s got a new lease of life now in my creations! All hand-drawn and hand-cut, it means I can customise and personalise pretty much any of my items and I do so love commissions.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
