I am a maker of many things and love to pass on what I know so that others can make beautiful things too

I am currently living in the very far north of Scotland, near John O'Groats. For several years I managed a weekly market and on moving to Caithness I organised and ran a weekly summer market but due to a change in circumstances decided to move on from this and let someone else take on the market.

I have had many changes of artistic direction and tried many arts and crafts. I spend a lot of time painting, mainly in watercolour, and have also made and sold pottery, jewellery and other craftwork but recently came back to needle felting, having first been inspired after seeing a small show in Edinburgh of some needle felted dogs. Having noticed how curious customers were about what I was doing I decided to create these five needle felting kits of some of my creations. These five are the most popular animals.

My partner Ian and my mad lurcher Jim share my space and put up with my artistic chaos!
