This razor has a unique handle and classic Edwardian/Victorian look, but gives a modern shave!
The long glass handle on this razor (70mm for just the glass) has a colourful 'tortoiseshell' effect, or like a marble effect. There are lots of bands of colours, from metalic greens to oranges, yellows, and reds and more besides with plenty of clear to let the light shine through and bring those colours to life! The glass is borosilicate, which produces deep and dramatic colours that tend to shift and change with the ambient light, and is particularly rich in natural light
The head of the razor takes Mach3 triple blade cartridges, so ideal for the modern shave, but with the heavy chrome finial at the other end has more of an Edwardian feel to it. The whole razor can be unscrewed for easy cleaning an maintenance. I understand it will also fit Venus cartridges too if you would prefer it as a ladies razor instead! (If you would like it without the men's cartridge please let me know before dispatch and I can send it for a £1.50 discount)
I formed the handle by melting glass directly inside a superhot oxygen/propane flame, then annealed it in a microprocessor controlled kiln to improve toughness. However it is glass so should be treated with care, and then it will last a lifetime.
The glass is entirely hand formed so no two handles will ever be the same!
