I sculpted a biscuit pattern in polymer clay and baked it to make my own stamp. I use it to press the design into the top and bottom biscuit layers, then assemble and finish each necklace by hand. Every pendant has the same crisp biscuit detailing, but each one is still individual. It hangs from an 18" silver plated chain with a lobster clasp closure, so it's easy to put on and comfortable to wear all day. Everyone has a favourite biscuit, and the custard cream is a proper British classic. I wanted to turn it into something you could wear, without it looking like a flat, generic biscuit charm. So I started by sculpting the biscuit pattern by hand in polymer clay, then baked it to make my very own stamp. Every necklace begins with that stamp, which I use to press the pattern into both the top and bottom biscuit layers. That's how each custard cream gets its crisp, recognisable detailing. After that, everything is done by hand. I assemble the layers, finish the pendant and attach it to an 18" silver plated chain. Because each biscuit is put together individually, no two are ever exactly the same. It's a small, sweet nod to teatime, made for biscuit lovers everywhere.
