I made these festive Dorset button hanging decoration using an upcycled metal shower curtain ring, wrapping and weaving it by hand with acrylic yarn in traditional Christmas red, forest green, snow white, and a gentle glint of silver. I love the thought of taking a forgotten, everyday household item and giving it a fresh, beautiful purpose through slow, rhythmic needlework. It makes a lovely, cheerful addition hung on the Christmas tree, resting on a door handle, or catching the light in a window.
