Bay Tree, Pine and Dark Oak Wooden Bead Necklace A unique handmade necklace featuring beads crafted from three different types of wood: Bay Tree, Pine and Dark Oak. The Bay Tree wood and Pine come from my local surroundings, with the Pine sourced from my own garden. The Dark Oak has been given a new lease of life, reclaimed from an old internal door. Each bead has its own natural character, bringing together different wood tones, grain patterns and textures to create an individual piece of jewellery. The beads are threaded onto a twisted-link, copper-coloured chain, complementing the warm, earthy colours of the wood. Crafted by hand in my workshop in Batford, Hertfordshire, this necklace celebrates the beauty of natural and recycled materials, transforming wood with a past into something new and wearable. As with all handmade pieces, this necklace is unique, with its own combination of colours, grain and character. A distinctive piece for anyone who appreciates rustic jewellery, natural materials and creative recycling.
