Joy An original hand-drawn artwork celebrating joy: not necessarily the loud, showy kind, but the sort found in flowers, abundance, beauty and the small things that make life feel good. The Marathi word anand meaning joy, happiness or delight, sits boldly at the centre of the piece, surrounded by delicate botanical drawing and flowing floral details. Drawn by hand in pencil and black ink, the contrast between the strong Devanagari lettering and the softer, intricate botanical work is characteristic of my Paisley Peacock Studios collection. This is an original artwork, not a print, so the small variations in line, shading and detail are part of its handmade character.
