About this item
Handmade, white earthenware ceramic ghost. The Sorcerer Ghosts harness the power of starlight. They use the cosmic energy to influence the world around them for the greater good. Each ghost is made and glazed by me, by hand so each one is different. They have a crackle glaze enhanced with ink for an antique effect, a floppy sorcerers hat and a little real gold lustre star. They are hollow to give you options to display e.g. popping them on a cane/stick! AM AN EARTHENWARE CREATION - that means that although I am beautiful and strong, I should ideally spend my life indoors. I can be put outside during warmer, dry weather but please take me back inside when it gets wet and cold so that the frost and damp don't cause me to crack. Each ghost measures approx. 12cm tall including hat.

I do love a ceramic ghost. I do also love a crackle glaze which has been inked to make it look like a cracked Victorian bathroom! I was completely inspired by 'Old Horny' in the Boscastle Witchcraft Museum for these ghosts. Who doesn't want a goat-headed demon for Halloween?
