A gemstone version of my glass snowmen earrings on gold plated kidney wires. Each of these cute little snowman earrings is made from an 8mm crackle Quartz bead for his body and a 4mm frosted White Jade bead for his head. He wears a scarf made from a red glass seed bead and a hat made from a 6mm polymer clay disc and a 4mm Hematite cube . No two snowmen are exactly alike due to the individual nature of each gemstones, but will closely resemble the photographed pair. Crackle Quartz is white Quartz that has been heat-treated then water-cooled to produce a network of tiny fractures, resulting in a beautifully sparkly stone that looks like crushed ice. He hangs from gold plated kidney wires - or is he walking in the air? Dainty and lightweight, perfect for festive parties, they would make a lovely stocking filler, Secret Santa gift or treat for yourself.
