Full description
Pale moons seem to float above a richly layered landscape of mossy green, turquoise, gold and warm red. Flowing lines wind their way through the surface, giving the piece a feeling of movement and faraway horizons.
Turn it over and the journey continues, with a completely different arrangement of colour and marks on the reverse.

Pocket Cosmos is a tiny collection of one-of-a-kind, double-sided bookmarks created from painted papers left over from my mixed-media work.
Rather than letting these colourful fragments disappear, I have given them another life. Layers of paint, texture and spontaneous marks are transformed with stars, circles, wandering lines and flashes of metallic colour, creating three little imaginary worlds.
Because they are made from original painted papers rather than printed designs, no two sides are the same. Turn one over and there is another little piece of art waiting on the other side.
Colourful, tactile and completely unique, each Pocket Cosmos is a small piece of original art designed to live between the pages of a favourite book.
