Meadow at Dusk: Original Mixed Media Botanical Art

As daylight begins to fade, the colours of the meadow deepen and the smallest details seem to emerge. A quiet, atmospheric meadow imagined in the fading light of day. Delicate stems and seed heads rise through layers of deep teal, muted green and earthy colour, with tiny pale marks suggesting the last glimmers of light amongst the grasses. An original mixed-media artwork with a gentle, contemplative feel. Wild Places is a collection of eight small, original mixed-media paintings inspired by the colours, textures and tangled beauty of the natural world. These are not paintings of particular places or plants, but imagined landscapes that have evolved through layers of paint, texture and intuitive mark-making. Leaves, stems, seed heads and birds emerge and disappear amongst the layers, creating glimpses of places that feel both familiar and imagined. From the freshness of morning to the stillness of a garden after dark, each piece has its own atmosphere and story. Together, they celebrate the unruly beauty of nature - the unexpected colours, overlapping shapes and wonderful tangles that appear when things are allowed to grow a little wild. Each image is a unique original and is presented in a 7-inch square mount, ready to frame.
