The Dales / Hand printed / Limited Edition / Rural Landscapes / Yorkshire / Wall Art / England. Image drawn from my collection of pics after cycling in Yorkshire Dales a few years back, just after lockdown, not far from Whitby.
From the series of English landscapes. Trying to be as minimal as possible, aiming at striking graphic image rather than detail, attempting to capture key defining elements, large building blocks of terrain, limited colour palette - what the eye sees at the first glance, what the memory retains when thinking of a place or a person.
Additional inspiration and visual "advise" from works of Edward Wadsworth.
The print is sold unframed but mounted into square passepartout. Size of the image is 20x20cm
