This rectangular table lampshade with rounded corners is suitable for use with an E27 Edison Screw Lampholder.
The lampshade features a unique textile design I created that was inspired by a common whelk shell. I collected the shell off the beach at Hythe on the Kent coast. After photographing it I applied various effects to come up with my own bespoke design. I then got a limited run of 1m x 1.4m printed on an eco-friendly velvet material. The velvet is made from 100% recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET).
The white PVC lining panel used to make this lampshade has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Industry Association Laboratory. The eco velvet laminated onto this PVC is protected by its fire resistant properties.
The use of low energy bulbs is recommend to avoid scorching the lampshade.
