About this item
This gentle little piece has been created using a variety of techniques. The background has collaged with mono printed fabrics which have been free machine embroidered to create pattern, texture and interest. A hand embroidered seed head is the focus and stands out against the background. The piece has been stitched onto a soft background of wadding and attached to a large repurposed safety pin. As the opening of the safety pin is at the top, it can be easily attached to other fabrics, hung in a little space or displayed in any room of the house. The piece measures 10cm x 12cm It would make a lovely gift for a gardener. Thank you for looking at my makes.
