About this item
As a practising therapist, I often talk about the power of comforting visual anchors. In many traditions, the elephant represents quiet wisdom, steady endurance, and grounded patience-gentle qualities that offer reassurance whenever life feels busy or demanding. I found these wonderful vintage elephants at an antiques fair in Norfolk and instantly fell in love with their character. Originally created as tea light holders, each one has been lovingly upcycled and given a new, mindful purpose as a one-of-a-kind pin cushion. This piece features delicate, hand-painted floral detailing set against crisp white squares across the saddle and ceremonial head cover. To complement the detailed artisanal base, I hand-sewed the cushion using an authentic William Morris print fabric, creating a timeless harmony of heritage pattern and gentle colour. The elephant has a solid, grounding weight that keeps it perfectly steady on your work table, desk, or bedside cabinet. Dimensions & Details: Height: Approx. 10 cm Length (Trunk to back foot): Approx. 15 cm Width: Approx. 6 cm Colourway: Hand-painted white and floral saddle with William Morris cotton cushion Variations: Other colours (green, red, orange, yellow) may also be available in my shop Postage: UK Mainland postage is included in the price Provenance: Sourced and lovingly upcycled in Norfolk, UK A steady, tactile companion for quiet moments of slow mending, or a thoughtful gift for a creative soul who appreciates heritage craft. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
