Croc; framed image, mounted and printed on card and photographic paper

A framed image from our 'Curious Creatures of Bracklesham Bay' series, an idea which was inspired by seeing the shapes the groynes on Bracklesham and Wittering beaches had been transformed into since their installation. For those who don't know, a groyne is a wooden structure installed on a beach to prevent beach erosion. Like any wooden structure, over the years, the tides and, principally, the waves erode the wood, and sculpt and shape it. We began to see weird and wonderful creatures in the groynes, the pebbles and stones caught in the groynes providing eyes and teeth, and saw that the addition of some background illustration to our photos would create amusing and intriguing images - we hope you agree. The original photo of the groyne has been printed onto photographic paper and applied over the design. The frame size is 230mm x 230mm x 20mm, and can be wall-hung or can stand alone. Choose between a black, white or wood frame. The item will be sent, boxed, via Royal Mail 2-3 day, tracked service. The item code is 37-Croc/Pr/Ph
