Poppies and cornflowers - textile art picture from upcycled fabric scraps and embellished with hand embroidery. Tiny pieces of left over silk and chiffon fabric are hand stitched to a piece of reclaimed tweed fabric making a scene of poppies and cornflowers at the field's edge. Hand embroidered grasses and wheat stems over a piece of reclaimed green net add depth to the picture. Inspired by walks through the fields where scattered poppies grow through grasses at the edges. A special gift for anyone who loves the outdoors. This will bring back memories of walks through the fields when poppies are showing their heads amongst the roadside greenery or seeing them in the distance amongst a field of wheat. Framed behind glass in a new frame. Framed the picture measures 10 x 10 cm.
