Cotton Reel Pin Cushion and Needlecase Set

Are you always hunting for a reel of Cotton and sewing needle? Then this is the set for you. This pin cushion comes complete with a few pins and seven reels of cotton, including white and black, so you will never have to hunt for a reel of cotton again. The needle case comes with a small selection of sewing needles and dressmakers pins with space for adding more. Made using two circles of cotton fabric the pin cushion is then edged with contrasting bias binding, it is stuffed using soft toy stuffing before the cotton reels are threaded onto ribbon and tied in a bow to stop them falling off. The needle case is covered in the same fabric as the pin cushion and is lined using beige felt for holding the needles and both would make an ideal addition to your sewing kit. The design on this set is of haberdashery items including buttons and needles on a blue background and the pin cushion is edged with a contrasting pale blue bias binding, the needle case has pale blue ribbon for tying up to keep it closed. It will also make an ideal table present at Christmas, or just as a gift for someone setting up a new home or off to University or is already at University as they will be able to do their own mending - I know that I have found one of these very handy as you can add needles and pins as and when you get them.
