About this item
A variation of the ever popular candle cage, this version is a robust piece made of multiple cut pieces of glass carefully arranged and fused to create glass blobs in an organised pattern. It's first fused at 800 degrees Celsius to fuse the multiple individually hand cut pieces into one flat form. Once cooled, it's place back in the kiln over a stainless steel vessel and heated to 670 degrees Celsius to slump into its final shape. It spent around 26 hours in the specialist kiln to create the completed piece. Shifting from plumand into blue, when lit with either a small or large tea light candle, the colours cast a beautiful colour. It measures approximately 10.5cm high and 9.tcm wide. It would make a wonderful unique birthday, housewarming, wedding or Christmas gift, or even better, a lovely treat for yourself. Postage is included within the UK, using recycled packaging wherever possible.
