The Egyptian Bastet Coin Purse.
Machine embroidered on wool tweed Fabric.
Lining is 100% cotton.
Purse is interfaced and interlined for shape and added protection.
Metal frame is antique bronze colour with an unusual rose or half bead kiss lock clasp.
Frame is hand sewn for extra strength and durability.
Size approx. 11cms X 10cms X 6cms.
Purse has a detachable tassel.
Bastet is the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of home,fertility, childbirth and protection.
Originally a fierce lioness warrior, she evolved into a protector of households, often depicted as a woman with a cat head, a cat or a lioness. She is the daughter of Ra and a symbol of joy and safety.
