Oak Leaf Pendant Necklace – Recycled Silver Nature Jewellery

This Oak leaf necklace has been created by taking a mould from a real leaf that I collected whilst on a family walk at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire. The pendant has been individually handcrafted from precious metal clay (a material made from recycled fine silver particles, binder, and water). When fired, the binder burns away, leaving solid fine silver. It has been carefully finished using traditional silversmithing techniques of filing, sanding, soldering, and polishing. This tactile leaf necklace has been polished to a high shine, to highlight the raised leaf vein texture and has a satin finish on the back. An inspired gift for anyone who loves the great outdoors - or for you to wear as an expression of your own love of nature. The Oak is symbolic of strength, protection, and longevity. MATERIALS & MEASUREMENTS - Recycled fine silver leaf pendant with a recycled sterling silver double ring bail: 16mm at the widest part x 25mm long (30mm long including the ring bail). - Recycled sterling silver belcher chain: 45cm / 18 inches in length.
