Driving home at night on a narrow country lane, I rounded a corner to come across a hare stopped stock-still in the middle of the road. For what was probably just seconds, but felt like time suspended, we both stared at each other. He was beautiful - long-eared and richly furred. I held my breath and watched in awe as he calmly, deliberately hopped away into the hedgerow.

Full description
This tactile fabric key ring has a beautiful dark brown hare caught mid-leap, his body wrapping around the whole key ring - head, fore-paws, fabulous long ears on the front, and hind legs and bob-tail on the back. The background is stone-coloured herringbone cotton.
The key ring can be filled with either fragrant lavender or with hypoallergenic wool toy stuffing. The stainless steel split ring is secured with a linen tab - and there is a choice of split ring shapes: circle, heart or star. Finished with a round wooden button and the option of a brown and white gingham ribbon bow.
A key ring for anyone who loves wild life, animals and specifically long-eared, long-legged hares. And especially suitable at Easter time - a beautiful and useful handmade gift.
