About this item
This painting is of one of my favourite places in Scotland, Glen Tilt near Blair Athol in Scotland. The misty grey skies that you get in October where the sun struggles to get through but somehow the land still manages to feel warm and inviting. Walking across this landscape with just the red deer roaring to remind you that you're not alone. Dimensions: painting itself is 12" x10" and framed its 13"x11"

My art is all about slowing down and taking the time to really see the world around me. One of my art teachers once said that “most people look but very few actually take the time to see.” This has stuck with me and since the brain injury when I was forced to slow down, I definitely see the world more now. My collection of Scotland paintings try to capture the feeling of timelessness. The landscape there feels so old but also its still changing and growing with rivers carving away at their banks and the growing deer population slowly changing the shrub lands into moorlands.
What buyers say about Hannahs Images
Brilliant! Thank you
Bought a beautiful greetings card with Hannah's picture of the, now sadly gone, Sycamore Gap.
I love Hannah’s work and this painting is gorgeous! The brush strokes and hues really come to life when you see it in person
