Fused Glass Robin with Red Ribbon

Cute little fused glass robin hanging decoration finished with red ribbon. These have been handmade using a combination of glass powders and modelling glass medium which forms the glass into a workable glass clay. The glass clay has been worked to create each robin with a small hanging loop fired in place at the top. They have then been kiln fired to fuse them into a solid glass piece. The finished robins are approximately 5cm x 3.5cm, I have used stainless steel wire for the hanging loop and the decoration is finished with red double edged satin ribbon. Each robin is individually handmade and each one, although made to the same design, will have small differences. I think that this adds to their appeal and makes every robin unique. Packaged in a white cardboard envelope tied with red ribbon, they make lovely Christmas decorations or small memorial/lost loved one gifts.
