About this item
A white earthenware hanging hare decoration, glazed with a night sky effect and with sgraffito details. The hare features the constellation of Orion sparkling with real gold lustre stars. Hangs from a dark blue ribbon. Size is approx. 18cm wide x 15 cm drop (excluding hanging). I AM AN EARTHENWARE CREATION - that means that although I am beautiful and strong, I should ideally spend my life indoors. I can be put outside during warmer, dry weather but please take me back inside when it gets wet and cold so that the frost and damp don't cause me to crack. Price is per hare.

Folklore traditions love the hare - a symbol of rebirth, fertility, magic and mystery! Often depicted as gazing at the moon, it seemed appropriate to celebrate celestial Autumn, when Orion returns to our night sky in all his glory!
