About this item
Limited edition of 50 'Lily of the Valley' giclée print scanned from my original watercolour and gouache painting and printed by me using light-fast pigment inks on an A4 sheet of Bockingford Inkjet Watercolour paper. It can be displayed in a standard A4 frame. Lily of the Valley were special flowers for my mum, she made her own wedding and bridesmaids bouquets using these gorgeous flowers combined with cream tea roses - they must have smelled heavenly. Mum always had them in her garden too, so they are very nostalgic for me. I have just added them to my own garden and hope that they take hold for future years. This painting is in an illustrative style, something I enjoy creating. I wanted it to look like a book plate, I hope you like it. PLEASE NOTE: my post days are Monday and Thursday.
