Just to let everyone know the shop will shut for Christmas on Sunday 14th December this year.
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. Full description
This little harvest mouse carries a sampler sachet personalised with baby's name and date of birth. This can be up to twelve characters for his name. He is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. He is dressed in a Liberty tana lawn cotton waistcoat called Poppy and Daisy, in the softest blues and greens. He has coordinating plus fours in a rich yarn dye fabric from which his little leather tail peeps. Beneath his waistcoat is a cuffed linen shirt in white. His outfit is finished with a blue silk cravat, tiny buttons and little leather shoes. He is a true harvest mouse with a black glass bead eye, leather ears and a pink leather tail.
He is softly stuffed with lavender in his stuffing for a gentle scent and he has a tiny piece of rose quartz at his heart for love. He has a brass ring to his back in case you want to place him on the wall. Please note this is a decorative item and is not intended as a toy or for children to play with.
He stands 7 inches tall
