About this item
A seascape wall hanging made using offcuts from upcycled fabric, lace, sequins, buttons and fancy yarn. Sparkly and lace fabric from unwanted dresses make a lovely sea, sparkling in the sunshine. Sparkly thread and sequins add more sparkle I've used a variety of embroidery stitches to attached the fabric pieces to a piece of vintage fabric. The reclaimed fabric on the reverse has a pattern of starfish. All hand stitched with no machine stitching or glue. I've used hemp twine as hangers and hung it from a piece of driftwood. These are easily removed if you prefer to use another way to display the art work. Button and hand embroidered flowers decorate the sparkly beach The art work measures 18 x 25 cm not including hanging loops or driftwood,. A lovely unique work of art to hang in your bathroom, a coastal property or anywhere in the home.
