This illustration grew from a moment of childhood wonder. Finn Willowbrush once believed foxgloves weren't flowers at all, but tiny gloves made especially for woodland foxes. As the tale unfolds, Petalwing gently reveals that there's truth tucked inside that whimsy: in old folklore, foxgloves were said to guide silent paws and protect the hidden paths of the wild.
