Special Order for Nerac

This little doll is Sage, inspired by the song Scarborough Fair - Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. She is made from quality wool felt with frosted glass bead eyes and lilac wool roving for hair. Her facial details are hand embroidered and her hair is hand styled. She is dressed in an Acufactum print cotton called Herb Love and it features all kinds of herbs abounding across a white ground. Her bobble hat is Tweed Felt Rowan Wool. Beneath her dress she has broderie anglais drawers with tiny cotton socks and wool felt boots. Her petticoats are a lilac chambray cotton with white tulle lace. Her apron is heavily hand embroidered with a folk art pattern of herbs of all kinds but with sage leaves, rosemary twigs and fluffy thyme flowers embroidered too. She is finished with tiny buttons and a sampler pillow Due to fine fabric, button joints and tiny details she is not suitable for children and is not a toy but a decorative item.
