My inspiration for this key holder was to use my pyrography skills and embellishing with spirit based stains for this design. To give a vision of silver birch trees in between the black walnut peg hangers that look like branches in a woodland. By using a piece of laminated wood that was made from recycled offcuts.

Full description
The woods on this key holder are laminated and made from; Black Walnut on the outside, with a light coloured Pine next then the centre piece is English Cherry. These strips of wood have been glued together to give a laminated tri colour background. I then traced my design for burning onto the wood and then pyrographed the image. Then embellished the artwork by brushing spirit based stains into different areas to give the illusion of the tree bark. I turned the black Walnut pegs on my wood turning lathe and drilled the holes for fixing. I used sanding sealer to seal the wood. I finally buffed them using vegan friendly carnauba wax to shine.
This key holder is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment.
