Handcrafted Ash wood Shaving Brush with Silvertip Knot (SKU-SB03

This shaving brush is turned from a piece of White Ash wood. A conical shape with a four ring design accomplished by a burning technique design. The finish is achieved by sanding down with grades of sandpaper to a fine grit then using Cellulose Sanding Sealer followed with three coats of Melamine Lacquer and finished with 3 coats of microcrystalline wax. The knot is a silvertip synthetic knot which has a distinctive colour pattern with a black banded midsection in the hair, as shown below with its packaging. Every shaving brush is documented and individually numbered, we send you this document of authenticity, when you purchase each one. This one is SB03, which is pyrographed on the handle, as each piece we make is an original hand crafted item. Size of Holder 65mm high x 36mm diameter approximately. Size of Knot 64mm long x 20mm diameter approximately. Overall length of brush 122mm. This shaving brush is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible.
