Beadwork Pen in Red, Yellow and Gold

This bright beaded ballpoint pen would make a splash of colour on anyone’s desk, and is unlikely to get mixed up with anyone else’s! The top half of the pen is beaded in electric zig zags of red, orange, yellow and gold. The bottom half has been worked in straight stripes of the same colours. The retractable ballpoint insert is accessible by twisting the top portion of the pen and can be replaced with a new refill when the ink eventually runs dry. I have made the beaded bands for this pen using a process called beadweaving, by which tiny glass Miyuki Delica beads are sewn together around the piece. The pen is 13.4 cms (5.3 ins) long and approximately 1cm (0.4 ins) in diameter. Your pen will be posted to you in a gift box and with a small black velveteen drawstring pouch for storage.
