About this item
This lizard (or gecko?) brooch is approximately 4.3cms long. Sterling silver brooch fastener. It has been flame painted. This is a technique that produces one-of-a-kind pieces and as you can see, the pattern is unlikely to be replicated. It is done with a micro torch producing different hues of blues, purples, pinks, yellows, browns with each firing. The back of the piece is plain copper. The photos shown are as originally photographed, I haven't done any later adapting/filtering but the light can make them look different depending on angle etc. The brooch photographed is the one you will receive. Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Tracked48 service in the UK. FYI - copper represents the 7th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 22nd in the modern version. Handcrafted in Lancashire
