About this item
An attractive and useful small lidded storage basket in the shape of an acorn. Made from a high quality recycled cotton braided cord, the basket is flexible yet keeps its shape and the cord gives great definition to the crochet stitches used to create it. In shades of brown, the base colour is called Latte, the lid is Caramel. The lid sits on top of the base and can be lifted off using the acorn's stalk. It would make a lovely addition to a woodland themed nursery or child's room. It also complements autumnal decor and could be used to store Halloween treats. Or, at Christmas use for (edible) nuts or as a place to hide away some Quality Street! Measurements: Approximately 11cm in diameter (inside top edge of base) and 14cm in height (including lid to bottom of stalk) Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C. Reshape whilst damp and leave to dry; Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.

I'm fascinated by the shape of acorns and challenged myself to create one in crochet!

These are lovely, well made and gorgeous colours. The larger one is great to hold a small plant pot and the smaller basket holds trinkets or in my case a couple of USB cables!! I’d already bought a small lidded basket from Jane so decided to get a couple more items. They arrived quickly and were well packaged and wrapped in lovely tissue paper. Very happy with my purchases and would highly recommend. Thanks Jane!

Bought 2 itemsThis a is a lovely small basket that I have in my bathroom with cotton wool balls in it so having a lid keeps them clean. Really nice neutral colour too so would fit anywhere. Great price, delivery was quick with my item very well packaged. I’ve now bought a couple more items from Jane which have just arrived and they are lovely too! Highly recommended, thanks!!

Bought 1 itemBought this crochet pot as a gift for a friend. Love the recycled thread. It's beautifully made and surprisingly sturdy. The button adds a lovely touch.
