Just finished the first of my new range of brooches. Going for a more natural theme, and also using some complex layering techniques.
A lot of thought went into this brooch. I wanted it to be as perfect as it could be. I used layering, glassline, dichroic glass, bullseye glass. I personally think that it has been a success. Autumn colours really really appeal to me!

UNIQUE: Handmade Fused Glass 'Autumn Tree' Brooch.
A cute, colourful, and eye-catching little brooch. Would go really well on any colour co-ordinated jumper, scarf, cardigan, or jacket. Beautifully Autumnal, subtle but eye-catching colours.
Carefully made by sandwiching a background layer of wispy blue bullseye glass with a cover of transparent glass. The tree and ground were hand painted using glassline on the blue background glass. The Autumn foliage and sparkling foreground were then layered onto the transparent layer of glass. Once fused in my kiln these different layers give the brooch a three-dimensional appearance.
This brooch comes in a tasteful GLASSMAD embossed box.
The catch on the reverse is quality nickel plated.
The brooch has the makers initials on the back.
Brooch measures: 4cm x 2.5cm x 6mm.
Completely unique and individual.
