I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £237.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £180.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 5/04/23.

Full description
This smart letter opener would look good on anyone’s desk. It is gold in colour, with a beaded handle in teal and gold peyote stitch.
Please note that while the opener is not sharp, it is pointed and should be kept out of reach of young children.
I crafted the handle surround using a technique called beadweaving, which involves sewing the beads together with strong beading thread, similar to fishing line. I used metallic-finished Delica seed beads in gold and in a bronze/ red colour called ‘dark raspberry’ .
Your letter opener will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
When you purchase this item, £3.00 will be donated to TOYBOX, a charity supporting street children worldwide. This donation is calculated after subtracting material and administrative costs from the item price. I do not charge for my time in making it.
