Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I'd wanted to crochet something with this chunky braided cord and I fell in love with this shell as soon as I spotted the pattern on Pinterest! It's a really interesting shape to crochet and I can't wait to make more of them. Something beautiful and useful :)

A beautifully tactile crocheted spiral shell in a bright shade of Jade, made from recycled 100% cotton braided cord.The item is fairly sturdy and keeps its shape, yet is soft to the touch.
It can be displayed on its side or is ideal to hang on a wall using the small loop. Makes a great holder for an air plant or small potted plant, but also good for keeping pens or makeup brushes tidy, or useful storage for other bits & bobs in the bedroom or bathroom. Or, just display on a windowsill or shelf as an interesting object in itself!
Measurements: Approximately 25cm long, not including hanging loop and 14cm across at its widest point.
Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C. Mould into shape and leave to dry; Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
