My little animal models are inspired by the stories I tell myself when I walk in the forest near my home and my childhood toys. I created these unusual, quirky sculptures because I wanted to decorate my bedroom with little woodland creatures, crooked wooden houses and miniature Canadian log cabins. I build these from recycled vintage book pages - I do not use any wire structure underneath, each sculpture is built entirely from the paper. I paint each animal carefully by hand. Each sculpture is unique in shape, appearance and character.

Looking for unique gifts? I created my little paper animals, hand made from recycled books, to decorate my home and bookshelves. They are intended to be three-dimensional "drawings" - I don't use any pattern or wire structure beneath the papier-mâché. Each one is therefore unique and has its own character. This little paper deer with hand-painted spots and expression is exactly the decoration I would love to have on my Christmas mantel or in my home all year round. Ideal size for mantel or shelf decor.
These tiny deer decorations are hand made from papier-maché and acrylic paint by me in my home studio in Scotland. Combining my loves of books and animals, they are adorned with natural red colour and tiny white spots.
These ornaments make the perfect unique gift to awaken joy in your recipient and also make unusual home accents or book shelf decor.
