This bag is ideal to have alongside to put bits and pieces in when you are sewing, knitting, crocheting and lots of other hobbies.

Some people use them to keep the TV remote control to hand so it doesn't disappear down the side of the sofa – put this on the arm and keep the remote handy (glasses, snacks etc.,)
The pin cushion is filled with sterilised sand, this not only provides the weight to keep the bag on the table but helps keep pins and needles sharp.
