Full description
This adapted DigniTEA mug has 2 handles. This can help stabilise the mug for the user. Or gives an extra handle for a carer to assist.
It features lowered handles should you wish to purchase a SafeSip lid. Which are easily stretched over the top for a non spill straw access.
It is made via a mould made from my protected design. It has then been slipcast, finished and fettled by hand and then bisque fired. I then personally glaze each piece myself. They are fired on a 3 pin stilt and you will see the discreet pin marks on the base as featured in the last photograph.
The exact finish will vary due to the nature of hand glazed items.
Height - approx 10cm
Volume - approx 237ml / 8 3/8 fl oz to the brim
Weight when empty - 208g / 7 1/4 oz
Weight filled to brim - approx 445g / 15 3/4 oz
I only use food safe glazes. Dishwasher safe but glaze clarity maybe effected over time.
Just remember that although safe, dishwashers can be brutal places for pottery. Take care with the extra handles.
