Sewing craft kit - hand appliqued owl picture

This is a sew it yourself kit for my own design, featuring a wise owl in a tree with autumn leaves. Suitable for a confident beginner or intermediate sewist, with lots of detailed instructions to help develop specific sewing skills. Sent in an eco-cardboard box (with a protective compostible mailer cover), this is perfect for a letterbox gift. Recommended for adults, and older children (8 plus) with adult supervision. Felt applique is very good for beginners, and blanket stitch is a very easy stitch that is worked quickly. My detailed instructions mean this is a perfect introduction to appliqued patchwork techniques as well as general sewing. This diy sewing kit includes high quality natural materials such as quilting cotton, wool felt and bamboo wadding, and uses a number of hand-sewing techniques that are fun to learn - including applique, embroidery and patchwork. More information is given in the photos. It includes all the materials needed for hand sewing the wall hanging. The kit can also be adapted to make a mini-cushion (instructions are provided) - you will just need to add stuffing as an option when you buy or use your own. You just need to provide scissors and a pen (and an optional iron). WARNING - This kit contains functional sharp items (needles, pins etc) and these should not be left where young children can access them.
