Full description
A pond, dragonflies and water lilies are the essence of this unique mixed media box frame. Created from predominantly upcycled beads and other materials the artwork evokes a shady glade where dragonflies flit over the water. Most of them are depicted on the vellum background paper but I have added a large beaded dragonfly.
The water lilies have been given three dimensions with bead end caps and small pink pearls. More foliage has been added plus the suggestion of shimmering sunlight reflected in the watery depths with a mosaic pendant and glass nugget. I've also added a filigree metal butterfly.
It is all mounted in a 27 cm square white box frame that can be wall hung or placed on a shelf.
