Rectangular keepsake fabric box, ring box

Luskentyre is a textile box in sandy mustard and blue. This keepsake box is perfect for keeping small jewellery items safe on a bedside table, or just as a unique and original gift. The main body of the box outer is made from a remnant of furnishing fabric in a linen mix. The lid is made from plain linen with a handpainted and appliquéd heart, and a hand embroidered heart. The box is fully lined in wool felt in a contrasting blue. The lid fastens loosely with a thread loop and recycled teal plastic button. The handmade nature of this item means it has a rustic, raw edge look, with pokey out threads and fuzzy edges. This is entirely deliberate and is not a fault. Please ensure you are happy with the finish by checking the photographs carefully before you purchase. This is a functional item but is not meant to withstand rough handling, so should be kept away from children and animals. The inner construction gives some rigidity, but it won’t survive being squashed. This box uses no plastic. Approximately 8cm x 5.5cm x 5cm tall. Do not get this item wet.
